On one level, the story's title refers to the storm that takes place through much of the story. To what else could the story's title refer?
The story could refer to at least two main points in this story that has been inferred. The first one that comes to my mind is using the word Storm as a symbol for the past relation the two had. The background of their relation isn't too many details, but it comes to the main concept of how it all ended. Simple and short and says how he basically left her for another women. They had not seen each other for so long, and so the relation between them is shaky. Their communication is simple and awkward. When it came to the storm she paid no attention to her surrounding until a felling came across her and saw a different scenery. As she came outside she saw him. He has not seen him in so long, and so a feeling of different emotions came startling her. As the hours passed, he was the one making an effort of interest in conversing with her. She was in response to not allow it, but gave in. As the continuing interaction between the two came to an end, a lift of friction came of between them. They both opened up with open minded and settled themselves back together The relation between the two before was a effortless conflict, like a battle. Up until there was a time of need for him, that he had to go to her, which furthered them to come back to each other.
